Superintendent

On-site construction superintendent requirements:

  • Managing field and project team successfully and collaboratively
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communication with client.
  • Set up of job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.
  • Participate in the review of all project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings.
  • Maintain and update project records including RFI’s, submittals and as-builts.
  • Coordinate subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and agencies.
  • Perform daily job site walks and submit daily logs and safety reports.
  • Conduct pre-task meetings, safety meetings and project staff meetings.
  • Use project management and scheduling software effectively.
  • Other related duties assigned or needed

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have an understanding of the construction industry, job site safety requirements, planning and scheduling, building trades and sequence of work. Must be able to read plans and specifications.
  • 2 years of experience as a job site foreman/ superintendent or equivalent role in the construction industry.
  • Pay range will be negotiated at time of job acceptance and is dependent on experience and skills.
